This means disposal costs for sofas and upholstered furniture are significantly higher than standard waste, especially for non-recyclable items.

Recyclable & Non-Recyclable Upholstered Furniture

We offer two different pricing categories for upholstered furniture collections: recyclable and non-recyclable items.

Some sofas and upholstered furniture can be processed through specialist recycling facilities, helping reduce landfill waste and lower disposal costs. These items are usually charged at a lower rate.

Other items cannot be recycled due to their condition, materials, contamination or missing fire safety labels. These must be disposed of under stricter POPs regulations, which comes with significantly higher disposal charges from waste facilities.

Because of this, pricing can vary depending on the item.
